Bed-Stuy fifth graders met with the Brooklyn borough president to advocate for the human rights of the homeless. Advocates rallied in Brooklyn Borough Hall Thursday to request a progress report from the Brooklyn Borough President on plans to provide homeless people with a place to shower.

Give students opportunities to grow in the field of aviation. Students are engaged in aviation instruction on flight simulators. Pilots are mentors and instructors. The Ronald E. McNair Aviation Center has afforded the students to learn about famous pilots, including the female pilot teams. Students have met famous TV personalities, executives from Mattel Toys, and student pilots.
